Omni Air Transport Accreditations
We work tirelessly to earn our industry’s top accreditations and certifications. These accreditations are one way we demonstrate our total commitment to passenger safety . These accreditations also create an additional layer of accountability as we strive for continuous improvement.
Let’s take a look at a few of our accreditations and what they mean for our passengers.
Wyvern Wingman Certified Operator
We are proud to be a Wyvern Wingman Certified Operator. To earn this designation we pass rigorous safety audits and onsite assessments to meet one of the highest safety standards in private charter operations.
When we say we follow “The Wingman Standard,” it means we adhere to a constantly evolving set of industry best practices. Wyvern sets strict standards for measuring and grading aircraft operators, their safety procedures and performance criteria.
As part of this program, we also have access to Wyvern’s safety data platform and Aviation Compliance Enhancement System (ACES). Together, these tools allow our team to make informed decisions based on the most up-to-date aviation safety information.
Wyvern sets rigorous pilot hour requirements. Pilots must have logged a certain number of hours within the last 90 and 365 days to remain current. When you fly with a Wyvern Wingman Certified Operator you know you are flying with an experienced pilot.
ARGUS Platinum is recognized as one of aviation’s most widely respected and recognized safety accreditations. The Platinum designation is the highest and most difficult rating to attain. This rating is only awarded to operators that pass in-depth historical analyses and on-site audits.
Operators must demonstrate a well-developed Safety Management System and an Emergency Response Plan, as well as effective policies and procedures. Documentation of operations and maintenance activities must be discerning and thorough.
ARGUS International maintains records on more than 1,000 charter operators, 21,000 professional pilots and 5,000 aircraft.
Their records management system is able to confirm:
When you fly with an ARGUS Platinum operator you can fly with confidence knowing your operator is well-vetted. Your charter team is well-prepared with documented response plans, thoughtful policies and procedures.
Stage III Certification with the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations
At Omni, we hold a Stage III certification with the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO). The IS-BAO is recognized around the world for the dynamic best practices and standards the organization sets for both domestic and international operators.
The IS-BAO auditing process focuses on Safety Management System development through three advancing stages of maturity. Stage III, the final stage, verifies that safety management activities are fully integrated into the operator’s business and that a positive culture of safety is sustained.
Nearly every organization says they are committed to workspace safety, but certifications like this one provide outside accountability. When you fly with a charter operator that holds a Stage III certification, you know that your operator’s Safety Management System is robust, up-to-date and verified by an independent organization. You also know that your operator’s commitment to safety is more than a cursory set of rules and guidelines. Instead, their Safety Management System is a vigorous program that impacts all areas of operations.
Department of Defense Domestic Charter Airlift Service Provider
Finally, Omni Air Transport is a preferred domestic charter airlift service provider for the Department of Defense. This relationship demonstrates we are a trusted government partner because of our safety and responsive support.
